Efficient Outlet Extension Solution

Based on our own experience, these spacers were a quick and effective solution for outlets that were too close to furniture. They allowed us to easily extend the outlet without the need for rewiring or bulky extension cords. The spacers are also made of durable materials that can withstand frequent use. However, they do add some noticeable bulk to the outlet, which may be an issue in tight spaces.

Pros
  • Easy to install and use
Cons
  • Not compatible with all electrical outlets

Soft Spacers: Standard Sockets

Based on all the positive reviews I had high hopes for this product but found that I couldn't use it as the pads are soft and not hard as I thought. My entire use case was to help me create space between some kitchen outlets and some deeper drawers due to a newly installed backsplash. After I cut out the spacer and screwed it in, I couldn't screw the bushing into the can for a tight spacing because the spacer shrank. I've never been able to create a reliable socket to connect things. For my…

Longer screws may be required if the full length of spacer is used.

better than other options

Okay, I'll admit the RIGHT way to solve this problem is to put in a new box and patch the drywall. When you're making a replacement outlet cover or even a do-it-yourself outlet and the room has been freshly painted, it's hard to justify. These things were a lifesaver for me on a recent project. The holes in the drywall were too big and the box pushed back too far. The drawer extensions didn't help because the hole in the drywall was too wide for them to push against. Those little spacers worked

Pros
  • NON-CONDUCTIVE; Our electrical box extension kit comes with (6) 3" non-conductive power strips that can be easily cut to any length; Simply measure the required length of outlet box and insert into recess
Cons
