Soft Spacers: Standard Sockets

Based on all the positive reviews I had high hopes for this product but found that I couldn't use it as the pads are soft and not hard as I thought. My entire use case was to help me create space between some kitchen outlets and some deeper drawers due to a newly installed backsplash. After I cut out the spacer and screwed it in, I couldn't screw the bushing into the can for a tight spacing because the spacer shrank. I've never been able to create a reliable socket to connect things. For my needs I think this product would be much better if the spacers were hard plastic that wouldn't compress when screwed in.

SCREWS, LONG; Our outlet extension kit features long wall plate screws to countersink almost any size of (12) 1.5" long screws and (4) 2" long screws; Simply insert a screw through the gasket on the outlet and adjust the screw to the desired depth. Longer screws may be required if the full length of spacer is used.
