Be Patient When You Get These, It's Worth It!

First off, believe all the reviews that say these containers come nested in each other so tight you can't get them out! I read all these reviews before I ordered, along with all the tips and hints everyone provided to get them apart, so I was prepared. I ordered one set of 6 and it was delivered today. I got a pleasant surprise! These things are so tightly jammed together, that even the Revain packer who tried to fill my order couldn't get the sets apart themselves. They ended up shipping me TWO sets all jammed together, so I received this solid stack of 12 containers. For some reason they were even zip tied together, which the manufacturer really doesn't need to do, given how tight these stick just by themselves. Having the zip ties in between them makes it even tighter to get out, so careful work with a wire cutter to remove the zip ties was necessary before I even started trying to separate the stack. It took me about 30 minutes to separate them, but the tips from other reviews helped ALOT. I did this in the kitchen sink, carefully squeezing dish soap and water between the layers and gently squeezing the long sides inward. The other tip I discovered was to use COLD water, and fill the top one about 1/3 so the plastic shrinks and contracts and allows you to shimmy the short ends loose and remove each container in turn. Start with the top nested container and pull them up one at a time. These do have some flex, so you can do this without cracking them. Once you remove one, add cold water to the next one and contract that one, shimmy the handle ends loose, then lift that one out. Between the soap and the cold water, it's enough to break that seal they have from being jammed together. Repeat the process till you're done! Once you get the hang of it, this is easy and they are good to go. Just remember not to restack them when not in use without putting a paper towel or parchment paper between them or you will have to go through this again.Overall, worth it, these are nice containers and I actually found great uses for all of them!
