These shorts look great, feel good, are soft and fit me perfectly (5ft 8in, XS shorts hit just above the knee). They are thin but still feel like they have some weight. No complaints about the style or fit, and at $10 the price is amazing too. However: - The quality is noticeably crappy. Threads hang straight out of the package. everywhere, everywhere, everywhere. It seems like at least half of the stitching wasn't finished properly to prevent it from slowly unraveling. I would happily pay an extra $5-$10 per pair if Brooklyn Athletics invests in better control. At least one other reviewer mentioned small pockets. Don't expect a lot of things to be kept in pockets, and don't expect anything to stay in place when you sit down. It doesn't really bother me as I mainly use it for the gym. At some point I will probably buy another pair of these if the first ones dissolve relatively quickly. Even with significant quality issues, I think they're still worth the <$10 price tag. Update May 1st 2020: I added a star because these shorts somehow managed to stay intact for about 18 months of frequent use (despite continued wear and tear). a few stitches and a repaired pocket). I literally live in two different pairs of these shorts during social distancing so it's fair if I upgrade my initial rating from 3 to 4 stars. Buy a third pair now to avoid real pants.
