The orange plastic clamps seemed flimsy and didn't fit my 1/2" hoses (too small ID) so I threw them away and used stainless steel clamps. There is an inexplicable leak at the nozzle which I suspect is due to the plastic fittings. This is just my opinion but I can't stop the leak and there really aren't any other solutions. Why not just include a whole short garden hose instead of all those parts? Finally, the hose connector must come with a bracket, although it was clear at the time of purchase that this is not the case. I just think I should. If I ever do it again I'll just buy a coupler and a short garden hose. I can always try the hose to see if it fixes the leak. I also painted the connection black (chrome) to match the other fittings on my caravan.
