Review on 32 Fluid Ounces of Meguiar's Flagship Premium Marine Wax for Better Boat Maintenance by Ian Iknokinok

When I bought my new Crownline 215SS I needed a premium wax specifically formulated to shine and protect the fiberglass/gelcoat finish. I have always trusted Meguiar products for my vehicles so I kept an eye on them. My boat dealer had this flagship wax on the shelf so I looked it up. One of the biggest problems with gelcoats is UV damage and fading when stored outdoors. This wax claims to have built in UV protection so I gave it a try. I've used this wax 3 times on a boat and it's really good. It works well as a mild cleaning wax and removes some of the tree sap stains I've found. As the process progresses, the wax spreads out in a thin layer so that not much of it is left. It peels off easily after drying, leaving a deep glossy finish. It really brings out the colors. Only time will tell if it lives up to what it says on the bottle and if the coating protects against UV damage, but I plan on continuing to use it regularly.
