TL;DR is a cheaper alternative to the GoPro branded float grip that works just as well and if you want it to be a regular grip in the water, fill up just the pen with water. I give it a 4/5 because it floats well, it's easy, it's cheap, and that's all you need. I'm taking one star because I almost broke it immediately, it's cheaper plastic so don't overtighten. floaty for GoPro, which can support both. If I were to buy this floating grip I would have to swap them out if I wanted the GoPro to be a tripod. So if you already had a tripod/grip with your GoPro when you bought it, just buy a floating grip for it.
