Bought for a vacation to Hawaii and after only 2 snorkeling trips in 2 days the metal rusted. Since the nut and bolt are the parts that actually hold the GoPro to the mount, the grip is useless if they can't be trusted.

The reviews on this product are impressive so I bought it but the quality is below average. The plastic is high quality, but the rubber grip doesn't last long. Joints are of poor quality. Places where the glue is visible and where it will eventually tear. I missed the return deadline or I would have sent it back. Works well but the quality is disappointing.

I took this with me on a recent trip to South America. I ended up not needing the hover function, but I just used it as a grip for my gopro, which was helpful. i like the size It's very easy to keep. The rubber offers a good grip and the grip is very light. I also like that you can easily hang it in your hand. The strap is easy to tighten with one hand. I don't know what else to say. Just returned from a scuba trip to the Great Barrier Reef where I spent a few days mainly snorkeling and snorkling. The grip has held up well for the most part. It popped up when I needed it and by adding water to the handle it didn't drift away from me while snorkeling! The only downsides I see is that the carabiner was cheap and I used a better one when I kept it in the water and even after rinsing it with fresh water the screw was already rusty after each use.
