The remote control has an LED light and glows when in use. Not bright, but bright enough. You sync with Bluetooth by pressing the Bluetooth button on the remote control and the Bluetooth button on the soundbar. The soundbar continues to search for devices even after adding the remote control. It may support more features than my speaker's menu system, but the functionality I need is there. Works with Vizio Atmos Soundbar SB36512-F6 (36 inch 5 channel surround sound, 1 subwoofer and 2 Atmos height speakers).
