Review on Samyang SY12M FX SIL Fujifilm X Mount Cameras by Curtis Richardson

Others write about the various flaws of this lens. My biggest complaint was the really awful chromatic aberration on any bright subject. Sometimes this was too much to fix well in ON1. The color reproduction didn't appeal to me either (photo taken on Fuji). It was difficult to match with my Fuji lenses and even the correction was fine. The field of view was almost too wide for all but a few types of landscape shots (14mm seems wide enough). I'm probably just saving my money to get a Fuji wide-angle lens. Had high hopes for this and it's not bad if you can accept its limitations, but in my opinion it doesn't deserve rave reviews.
