Review on π Danco 10514 Slip-On Brass Adapter by Chase Steele
The rubber on this one ruptured, causing significant water damage.
I used this to connect a portable dishwasher to an unthreaded sink. It worked for several months with no leaks, but the rubber on the adapter broke. That meant water was splashing all over the kitchen. It took me 30-60 minutes to notice this and I ended up doing a lot of damage. I would not recommend this product for applications where you cannot afford a leak.
