There seems to be some confusion about this and a few other capped TFT touch screens. This product works as advertised. The easiest way to get it working is to download Koeman's own Raspbian Jessie image from this link mega:#F!yVEzQQgB!TfUC-8U72scSzdl3raEL_g!3BVzEBQL. After installing the image, you will find that both the screen and touch work and are properly calibrated. I found that by editing this line in the /boot/config.txt file Dtoverlay=tft35a:rotate=90 you can rotate the desktop to the desired position. If you rotate your desktop, you must use your mouse to recalibrate touch to the desired orientation. Rasbian's start menu has an option that lets you do this via the GUI, making it pretty easy. Due to the screen size in pixels, you may not be able to see some features. I don't know why all the hate on Koeman. I found them helpful and great customer service. I had a cracked case and they offered to send a new one and when I asked for help with calibration and orientation they were punctual and helpful.
