Review on πŸ’» 2020 ASUS VivoBook 15 15.6-Inch FHD Laptop: Ryzen 3, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Backlit Keyboard, Windows 10 by Troy Rotermund

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Plenty of memory, good processor for the price, screen could be a bit better

Overall satisfied I took this as a replacement for the old Dell Latitude which was a battle tank by comparison. It had more RAM than advertised, namely 20GB, which is a big plus. I'm using it for Kubuntu Linux, and for the first time since installing it I've run the distro - I had to revert to the previous kernel to get it to boot. With the right kernel, this works like a charm. The screen is fine at night or in low light, but during the day I adjust its tilt to make it easier to see. The buttons dangle a bit, but they're comfortable enough. The trackpad is huge, although I prefer a mouse. Overall this is a good car for the price. Good value for money. I handle it properly so it lasts a long time. I haven't tried his graphics yet, but will soon. It will be possible to update this review. There are also plans to upgrade the SSD.

Pros
  • Hard drive upgraded to 256GB. An SSD offers plenty of storage space for huge files, so you can easily store and edit important digital data. This gives you a huge storage space to store all your files. Improving the overall performance of a laptop for business, school, everyday use
Cons
  • Nothing here
