It just does what it's supposed to, elegantly and simply. It holds your bike. No, this is not a bike holder. All it does is hold the bike up and off the wall. It is save. Unless you hit hard, the bike stays in place. It can be folded to the side when not in use. I'm sure it will protect my bike from falls. A road bike doesn't usually come with a side stand, so you need to protect it from falls or scratches. While there are many options, this one works when it's inexpensive and I just love it.
