I chose the waterproof RGB5050LED strip because I think the waterproof RGB LED strip is much softer than the non-waterproof RGB LED strip. I cut my RGB5050LED waterproof strip to meet my usage needs. And these connectors are the perfect solution for my project. Note. When you cut the LED strip into 2 LED strips, you need to cut very carefully along the cutting line to make sure the area of the copper pins is the same on both sides of the LED strips. If the area of the copper pins on the LED strip is too small, the 4 pins in the connectors cannot fully penetrate the 4 copper pins on the LED strip, and the result is poor electrical conductivity, and you may get 2 different colors or no colors at all. Therefore, you need to be careful when cutting LED strips. Also, these connectors can only work with WATERPROOF RGB5050LED strips that are 10mm wide. Not for other types of LED strips.
