I bought 2 packs because my 11 year old daughter researched this and wanted to do it together. We both had different experiences, but both were satisfied. We followed the instructions and did the process together in the same day. There was no burning, no itching and no discomfort (which initially bothered me as a pharmacist). On the 4th-5th day my legs started to peel off. That day I showered, put lotion on my feet and wore socks and shoes to work for at least 11 hours. When I got home and took off my shoes, I could literally run my fingernail over the sole of my foot and large patches of skin began to peel off. My feet have never been so soft! The bunions of my big toes and heels took a little longer, but that's usually where our strongest skin is. My daughter is a dancer and I later read that dancers should not use these products. However, we haven't found any reason for this to be a problem other than that the feet are too soft and tender and the dancer loses footing, but I don't see that. Her feet took longer to clean (they're still peeling and very soft, and the product states times may vary) but she didn't follow the directions either. In my experience, the key to a perfect effect is to soak your feet in very warm water for at least 10 minutes a day. Each time we did this, our legs became more scaly. It was an extremely pleasant experience, especially if you do it with a friend, family member, etc. It's nice to see what happens and to have softer feet that you haven't had since childhood is wonderful! I will actually be ordering another pack to have on hand if we decide to do it again. LOVE LOVE LOVE this product!
