Not for golf

I've read a lot of rave reviews about this set and being new to disc golf I bought two. One for my daughter and one for me. If you're a casual gamer, grab the $10 set from Walmart. Here they are not worth the price. Pros: Colorful enough to be found in the rough. Sent quickly. Delivered on time. Normal for a casual player 1-3 times a year. Cons: The driver CD warped the second time I played. The yellow print on the tote came off when I hand washed it with a mild soap. These discs tarnish heavily and are difficult to throw. overpriced. After playing three times, I began to familiarize myself with the guys on the field. I did pretty well for a beginner (2,3,4 over par). I showed them what I threw and the jaws dropped. "Dude. Nobody can leave her!" I said I was fine, and then the guy made me leave mine. There's a WORLD of differences (and a world of prices, too). If you want to excel at disc golf and play regularly, choose the best set. Please investigate. If you're just buying for fun, buy the $10 set. It's not worth the price.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine
