I bought this along with the LED filter for my camera. Although my camera and lighting had become significantly lighter in terms of setup, I still needed something to hold them in place. As a broker, I have to photograph my clients' properties. Sometimes I do a 360 degree panoramic view of the room. This tripod head helps a lot. Once installed, I can turn the camera in just the right direction to continue 360-degree recording. If I need to adjust the lighting, I don't have to move the camera. It is durable and can bear the weight of the camera and light. I used to have to set it up with a tripod, but the calibration wasn't always accurate and the shot wasn't perfect.
