Who has ever heard of a peppermint allergy? I recently found out I have one when I went to my dermatologist for a sore spot around my mouth. It was read, scaly and painful. She told me to stop all mint-flavored products, including toothpaste, mint breath freshener, and mouthwash. I used that thing all the time. She said water would work just as well, and it really did. Plackers makes one of the few unflavored dental flosses on the market and appears to be the most affordable. The people on their service line are great and I'm glad they helped me find this product. I hope they continue to do so.
