I took a chance with this card and lost haha. The capacity is right as you can store data up to 256GB. However, if you need to run files from the SD card, it seems to have a limit of around 32GB. This means that the first 32GB you add to the card will be readable/executable, while the remaining 256GB will not. If you need an SD card to transfer files from one device to another, that's fine. If you need an SD card to run files, ISOs, etc., I highly recommend going the other way. I ordered a Sandisk Ultra 256GB just to make sure it wasn't my device (GC Loader PnP) and that the SD card was working great so the SD card was the problem. I give it 2 stars because it can hold 256GB. in the data, but I'm less happy that there's a limit where the data is no longer executable. Sandisk Ultra/Extreme is worth the extra money for functionality and write speed.
