My dog kit came with everything I needed to get started. I laid out the canvas which is clearly labeled with numbers and letters corresponding to the beads that will be placed to add color and texture. The dog image has an acetate film covering the adhesive that you can easily remove while working on the image. , then replace the acetate when you stop working. My teenage son and I worked on this together and finished it in two and a half weeks, working on it here and there. It's addictive, so once you get started you'll want to keep working to see the image take on a "diamond" life.
