Not bad bang for your buck. Of course, the not-so-nice thing about any dog whistle is that you can't just blow it and expect the dog to come along (which would be nice). You need to train your dog to respond to this and it's not that easy if you're a person like me who is too lazy to train your dog. But I must say that the last dog I responded to whistles even without training. The sound always hit his ear. He recognized the sound as "different" and stopped and looked at me. Then I could say "come". Sometimes he came, sometimes not, but the sound always caught his attention.
