I didn't know what to expect, but since I couldn't find a universal ergonomic handle to fit my old hooks, I thought $13.99 for 12 hooks was a pretty good price. I was right. Very comfortable (I knitted about 8 hours yesterday! No cramps, no pain in my arms! Hooray!). The metal part has a satin finish (not as smooth and shiny as my Boye and Susan Bates metal hooks. But smooth enough) and so far I haven't had any issues with yarn tangling or pull slowing me down due to the finish metal. Much better collectible set than my local branded craft store (even with a coupon) and local Walmart had stock! Very satisfied. And since I'm a relative beginner and mostly using acrylic threads (not expensive/trendy/real wool/thin threads) this is just what I need to improve my craft without hurting my hands! Update: I found a couple of hooks that had some rough edges and I contacted the manufacturer and they responded very quickly and fixed me by replacing the hooks! Maddy was really great and I loved my hooks. Thanks to the guys at BeCreative for the great attitude!
