Good Value - Home Audio

Let me start by saying that I'm a music lover. I'm very picky and picky about my speakers. I'm putting the finishing touches on a project in my backyard and need speakers for a campfire. To be honest it wasn't what I wanted, I had my eye on some rock speakers from the Klipsch Reference series because I have floorstanding speakers in front of them and they are amazing. But my project is well over budget and Klipsch is four times the price, so I had to settle for less this time. I received them on time as usual, then unpacked and played in my basement for about four days. When I started playing them I wasn't happy at all. Very dull sound with dull basses. But I know most speakers take a bit of break-in, so I'll let them play around a bit. After a few hours of play they smoothed out and I figured I could live with that. Appearance is normal. They're not concrete, they're some kind of plastic. But they look good and go well with the concrete they sit on. You don't look bad at all. I mounted them outside tonight. Let me be clear these are not high end speakers but for the money they sound pretty good. The bass doesn't get quiet (I didn't expect it either), but it makes a good impression. They're a bit harsh in the mids, but I was able to fix most of that with some EQ adjustments. sound very decent. Now it's coming from me, it's pretty good. Most people would be very happy with the sound. The main question now is whether they will survive or not. I will try to get back to you after the season to let you know. If you have a lot of money to spend, you can certainly achieve more. If you're on the same budget as me this time around, chances are you'll be very happy with this one.
