It was a great bag. My cat was attacked, probably by a hawk or an owl, and we made frequent visits to the vet to follow up on her wound care - the cat removed stitches because of her insistence on continuing her active lifestyle. Sometimes the only way to keep her was to carry her around, who had her own problems because if you didn't do it right, that would hurt her too. At first I thought it was a sling, then I found this bag. It was great not only to carry her around the house but also to go to the vet. Being able to sit next to me in the car means she no longer gets upset about being in the car and is restrained from crawling into the air vents (it was her first drive when I brought her home). She is happy to sit with her on my lap. Head out of the bag, just watching what's going on around them. The support of the pouch allows her to choose how she sits and I don't have to worry about her putting the wrong pressure on her sores. When I walk around her head is at a level where I can keep scratching her and she goes along happily. It's easy to get her in and out of the bag, although she's been known to duck into the bag to hide from the vet because she knows they're going to clean her wounds and she hates it . works well when I take my small dog on a hike (she's small enough that cat harnesses fit her better than dog harnesses). She's been a champion so far, going to the park and taking some long walks, but when we start doing longer hikes in difficult terrain I have concerns about how she'll handle it all. This bag allows me to carry it easily and keep my hands free.
