I've used this can cooler several times and it definitely extends the life of my drink like any other cooler I've tried. It is very easy to clean by unscrewing the top from the bottom and you can wash them separately. My biggest complaint is that the pivot top is too tight. You unscrew the top, place the glass in the mount, and then screw the top black back onto the top of the glass. I had a little trouble screwing the lid in because it fits very snugly on the jar (and I use the exact size of the jar it was made for). If you later remove the can, you must pull hard to loosen it. Basically, don't take the can out of the holder unless it's empty, otherwise you risk spilling it on yourself trying to get it out of the top.
