Don't expect this thing to last long
I've used it several times, maybe once a month. However, this only lasts a few years. Aside from the cheap plastic casing that you would expect from any other cheap Chinese-made electronic device, the internal components are not meant to be used for more than a few years. I was right about that. when my Transcend reader started disconnecting from me and now it's practically unusable. Try to transfer anything from any card, transcending dies. Luckily I have several other readers and they work fine. I have had two of them for 4 and 8 years respectively. Transcend RDF5K is MUCH more reliable than this one (RDF8K).
