Fun and Black Light Reactive
I'm experimenting with painting perforated paper with gold fluorescent acrylics and then embroidering small designs with this thread. All colors glow well in black light, except for blue, which is somewhat dull in UV light; but it's usually difficult to find a really nice blue in ultraviolet light. I find the floss texture a bit tricky, like silk embroidery, which I don't like. Feels weird on fingers. I've updated this with a photo under black light. Purple glows, but not like purple, more of a rusty, dull color. Blue is boring too. Other colors are brilliant and shine much better than in this photo.
