I bought this TV after seeing a 42 inch Samsung from a friend. Samsung is one of the most well-known manufacturers of DLP TVs and that's what drew my attention to them in the first place. To write a short review, I will give a short pro/con/conclusion: Pros - Very bright image - Great color depth - No pixel pitch like LCDs - MANY inputs (and input names are configurable in the menu interface) - Very easy (as in pounds) - SlimDepth - great for gaming (14,400rpm color wheel eliminates ghosting and artifacts) - Native HD resolution Cons - not very wide viewing angles, make sure your couches are within 30 degrees to the left or right of the center otherwise the picture will fade a little - 720p only - The control buttons on the side of the TV can sometimes make it difficult to know which button you're pressing without using the remote control. Samsung DLP TVs are high quality, good looking and built to last. to me. 720p HDTV looks fantastic whether I vote for it or not. If you buy this TV I guarantee you will love what you get. I am very happy with my purchase.
