I bought this TV after seeing a 42 inch Samsung from a friend. Samsung is one of the most well-known manufacturers of DLP TVs and that's what drew my attention to them in the first place. This is a great HDTV. Very clear picture. I also have a very good LCD TV that I'm happy with, but you can't beat this Samsung DLP for price and screen size. The audio needs some help, but they all do.

If you are having issues with white/black spots on your screen, please visit samsung.com and locate your product page. it specifies exactly that problem and what to do about it. If you call Samsung and tell them about it, they'll send a service technician to your home and fix it for free. All it takes is a little research.

Great TV, especially for the price. It's light, thin and the picture is the best I've seen on an HDTV. Thanks for attention.

The normal picture (not high definition) was not very good, especially during the day. The high resolution was decent, but only at night. The contrast ratio is only 2500:1, which doesn't give you enough contrast during the day. The screen is also plastic and doesn't seem to give a clear picture but could be good for gaming I sent the TV back and never got to use it for this purpose.

It was just terrible television. problems from the start. Stains on the screen, 4 lightbulbs, now some kind of resistor turns off the TV! On average something goes wrong every 3-4 months. No wonder they are no longer made. A piece of junk. $1200 new. in just 4 years = $300 a year!

I've only had the TV for 3 months and Best Buy has already repaired it twice - once for a new bulb and the other day they replaced the entire 'motor'. I bought this Samsung HLT 4675S TV about a month and a half ago. This TV exceeded all of my expectations. It has excellent picture quality and easy-to-use on-screen user interface. The A/V, HDMI and PC inputs on the back of the TV are very easy to use. The TV is very light, which makes it easy to install and add components without having to take everything apart. I've had the Samsung HLT4675S for almost a month and I'm very satisfied. What a great deal at only $860! The high definition picture is incredible both wirelessly and via HD cable. Recently I had a TV with a so-called HD cable. Not as bright as plasma or LCD. Off-axis visibility is poor, but that's not a problem for us. If the bulb lasts for several years, I think it's a good buy for now.

I have to give this TV 1 star as it lasted less than 3 years. When you pay $1,000 for something, it should last longer! A white square/dead pixel appeared yesterday and another appeared today. From what I just read, there will be more in the next few days. Absolute rip off, I would not recommend this TV and will never buy a Samsung again!

To be honest I was skeptical about ordering this HD DLP as I was afraid I would get a piece of junk in terms of picture/sound quality. But it was amazing, definitely an improvement over our old 30 inch tube TV lol. This review is under development for two reasons. Firstly, we don't have an HD program yet, so we only see standard definition and DVD TV performance. What we saw was outstanding. I know HD TVs don't play standard definition either, but this TV did a very good job. The performance of the DVD was outstanding. I am very excited about this television. It came at a great price that I couldn't pass up, so I didn't! I haven't had any issues with it so far, except that I'm still trying to tweak the color levels a bit. but this is a really great TV at a great price.

I've been using this TV for about 3 weeks and I'm very happy with it. The HD picture quality is superb, and for $898 (at Brandsmart) nothing even comes close.
