Review on Slim 46 Inch Samsung HLT4675S 720P Flat Screen TV with HDMI by David Robinson

I've had the Samsung HLT4675S for almost a month and I'm very satisfied. What a great deal at only $860! The high definition picture is incredible both wirelessly and via HD cable. I also bought a Samsung HTTX75 home theater in a box system and the upconverted signal on the TV is amazing. I don't know how I've lived without HD until now. The resolution of 720p gave me full satisfaction. I don't think the extra money for 1080p is worth it right now. My only gripe with the TV at the moment is the difficulty in using the same remote control for a Samsung TV and a Samsung home theater system. I'm thinking of buying a universal remote so I don't have to juggle three remotes (TV, home theater, cable) to watch what I want and adjust the volume. I also sometimes noticed a faint piercing noise from the TV, but my wife could not hear the same noise. Both inconveniences are minor. Finally, I would like to caution potential buyers against buying a TV that is too big for their room. I had an older 45 inch Mitsubishi and figured if I bought a new TV I might make it bigger. I'm glad I didn't. With HD DLP you need to make sure you can sit far enough away from the TV. TV so it doesn't look too pixelated. Had I opted for a larger TV, I certainly wouldn't have had as sharp a picture as I did on the 46-inch Samsung. The widescreen format also makes the new television look huge compared to Mitsubishi. I give Revain five stars for shipping and price. I ordered the TV on Thursday and it was delivered via UPS on Tuesday. As for the price, I thought I got a killer deal when I bought the TV for $960. A few weeks later, I noticed the price had dropped another $70 and contacted Revain. Within a day they gave me a full discount credit as per their post-purchase price guarantee. Excellent delivery time and customer service.
