I ordered this in gold for my 10 year old son for his Halloween costume this year. I read the reviews that they run small so I ordered a size 12 for him. It works great having a small waist as my son is very tall (he is 5ft) but very skinny. As a rule, waist-hugging trousers are too short for him. They fit perfectly in waist and length. Maybe a different color could wear it out, but as far as gold goes, it'll just be lounging around the house, which is great because they're very comfortable.
