But I held the little blue thing in front of the cartridge with one hand and pulled the plunger of the syringe with the other hand. I only had to set a plate of warm water down a millimeter or two to clear the blockage. Once I got the good sound of the blue thing I was able to suck the ink out. He was inkless for almost a year. Now he's typing like a champion. After a few pages I got an ink level error, press and hold the stop button at the bottom until the error goes away. I put a piece of blue masking tape on top where it will hold. I also cheated and used a drill for the hole. Just don't push down, let the drill do its thing and when it comes through don't smash into the bottom pad, even though mine made it short it still works great although I goddamn wiped it off and probably a bit crowded. I'm surprised I didn't run like crazy. Very thankful, this ink cartridge is sold out around me right now and is $50 online.
