I live in hot and humid south Texas. The unvented stock ATV seat causes sweat and discomfort almost immediately, especially in the summer. I was so happy with the purchase that I immediately bought another one for my spray ATV. At first I was concerned that the front and rear straps (at the end) seemed too far apart, but they held tight even when we drove through fields badly devastated by our wild boar. It hasn't rained here for months so I can't comment on how it holds up to the water.
