It's not a surface. If you need a surface, buy a surface and pay double what you should. The case is solid, but not entirely metal. So if that's what you're after, the HP Specter is both budget and metal. However, if like me you want something that is ultra light, beautifully designed and fits in your purse. It's the best there is. Again, if you want a powerful and secure device, this is for you. It made me ultra mobile. It looks like an apple but has the power of Windows. As a result, I've been able to replace my Lenovo laptop with it and get my work done wherever I need it. It's so liberating and the fingerprint lock adds extra security! Note that if you're going to use it as an office machine, you'll need a black or orange keyboard cover to symbolize creativity and a Bluetooth mouse, which they don't have, but you can buy one cheaper. If you need more ports, please buy a dongle as it only comes with 1 port. Overall, this gets you significantly more power and performance at the base price of an entry-level interface. Whatever you say, I am happy with my purchase. Money well spent! :)
