Now I want to clarify that I can use this soldering iron for unusual applications. This is the welding of parts printed on a 3D printer. So, as a real soldering iron, I can't give too much information. However, for my application it works great. Simple control. Heats up quickly. Holds the temperature well. It's easy to use. And allows you to quickly weld and countersink nuts into parts printed on a 3D printer. The associated advice is very diverse. Alternating between speed and accuracy. The only real downside is that there are no instructions included. It's simple enough for you to understand. But it would be nice to have at least some basic information about its features and usage. In addition to the above points, there may still be room for improvement in some areas. First, the cable is pretty stiff. Which can make it a bit finicky when working in tight spaces. Second, it would be nice if there was a way to turn it on and off without unplugging it. Or maybe you can. And I just haven't figured it out yet as there are no instructions lol. However, this is a good buy and perfect for my needs. I believe this will work just as well for traditional soldering applications. give him a chance I think you will be happy with that.
