Review on Scorpion Covert Helmet Small Matte by June Reeves

Fits exactly how I expected not the first Scorpion helmet I have. Extremely comfortable and appears to be mostly of good quality with a few exceptions. The tinted screen installed in the helmet is fine, it doesn't block, but I knew in advance that the tint would be disappointing. It appears to be a clear shield with tinted material applied, like car tint. That wouldn't be a problem if everything was done well, but I have a few blisters and a bad spot on the side. However, none of the bubbles cause visibility issues and can only be seen upon close inspection. The removable chin guard certainly takes some getting used to. It works well enough but not like the original covert from the videos I've seen. Overall I'm happy with the purchase despite a few minor issues. It looks exactly how I wanted it and fits perfectly, which is probably the most important thing. Overall the finish is great and the lining feels good. UPDATE: I'm an idiot. The bubbling was the result of a protective film on the outside of the screen. The shadow is perfect! Having used the helmet all summer I can safely say I love this cap! Very comfortable and looks fantastic. UPDATE 2: I've been using this helmet for almost a year now and it's holding up great. The tinted visor is also good at night without other eye protection. A bit colder than a traditional full face, especially if you're going in spring, but thanks to Covid (I never thought I'd say this) the sheet mask underneath helps warm my face. If you have any doubts about purchasing this helmet, do yourself a favor and go for it.
