Review on 💻 Enhanced Stream Control with 32 Customizable LCD Keys: Elgato Stream Deck XL for Windows 10 and macOS 10.13 or Later (10GAT9901) by Andrew Roll

I have to say I love this thing. I read most of the Revain reviews here before placing my order and I can say that 95% of the complaints in other reviews are unfounded. Complaints others have had: - Short/tight USB cable :: I don't understand this one. Every wired keyboard and mouse I've ever had had a fixed cable of the same length. If this doesn't work for you, then neither the mouse nor the keyboard are working. LCD display "crimps" when pressing buttons :: Try not to press buttons like a 200-pound gorilla. Mine doesn't hesitate unless I'm really trying to get him to. - There are no built-in functions for MYSOFTWARE::. That annoys me a lot. It's made for streaming software. It literally has STREAM in its name. However, you can set up custom button mappings with custom images for the buttons you want. They work great. I have mine that performs a dozen functions that aren't technically supported for OBS, Photoshop, and a few other programs. - It seems cheap / cheaply made :: What planet do these people live on, I don't understand. The thing is surprisingly well made. - When I press the buttons, there is a big delay! :: Don't try to stream on potatoes. Mine works great. Any delay is on the user side. (too much BS running in background/slow computer) - overpriced! :: If you think the price is too high, then you haven't looked at similar products. Programmable keyboards with similar features (non-LCD) are the same/more expensive. - There is only one LCD, these are not separate displays for each button! :: Doesn't matter? It works great and looks great. My complaints: - Pretty minimal OBS native settings. This is easily overcome with custom keyboard shortcuts. It would be nice to have things like a built in microphone to mute the sound. Always in view. It really needs to catch when the PC display turns off due to inactivity and do the same. (or disable anyway if computer is locked) TLDR: That's great. It's great for streaming as well as a general productivity helper. I have no regrets ordering mine and I doubt anyone else will.
