Review on Purina Pro Plan Shredded Chicken Dogs best: Food by Tammy Reeves

The food was recommended by my vet because its nutritional value is based on science (not just what consumers think is best for their dog). My pup loves it, I love seeing dehydrated chunks of real chicken in it, but I have a problem with all the crumbs from those dehydrated chunks. I use most of my dog's daily diet for training, and while pellets are great, crumbs are clearly not the way to go. My pup is very smart and needs mental stimulation so he gets his lunch in puzzle feeders to keep him busy and entertained - the crumbs of this food get scattered everywhere while he works on his puzzles. I sifted the food to make sure all the little bits ended up in their bowl where they're safer and not in the puzzle, but I don't like that extra step every day so sadly it's not food. for us and we must try something else.
