I have a car with a USB port and prefer to use it for a music flash drive rather than charge my Android phone. This compact, backlit device plugs into a cigarette lighter socket and has two slots for my travel companion to charge a second phone. A charging cable is included as a bonus (most chargers require you to purchase one separately). In terms of functionality and price I am very satisfied. When trying to choose a charger, the two main things that bothered me were security and performance. I haven't owned it long enough to vouch for durability, but it doesn't generate heat and doesn't *charge* my phone when it's 100% charged. There are plenty of inexpensive chargers on the market (hell, they have one at the dollar store!), but as with most things, you buy cheap and get cheap. This is a premium mid-range product.
