I used to order another stand for my large 12.9 inch iPad Pro which couldn't support the weight. He just dug his nose into the table and didn't get up. Not so with this tablet stand. comes with an Allen key for easy tightening of the connections and for holding my large tablet at a comfortable viewing angle.Although very durable, it's not difficult to adjust the stand for different viewing angles.The base of the stand is made of two strong adjustable wings that create a great base that is difficult to tip over. This stand is big enough to hold even my iPad Pro with a heavy UAG protective case, more weight and width, and it still keeps it stable. One thing that confuses me is that the website said it could work with tablets up to 9.5 inches, so I can even use my iPad Pro with a case. The box said it would fit tablets up to 8.5 inches, which would be too small. I was concerned but they seem to have used these boxes with a larger sized clip to keep my iPad snug. Great stand, great price! I bought two, I also got one for my iPad Air!
