As mentioned before, this shelf is not very easy to install. It also will NOT fit in a standard computer rack, which is typically 36" deep between rails (I wanted to max out that shelf with my rack, which was only 29" between rails, which seems more normal for a half-height rack). . Even more worrying is that this shelf cannot be closed with a latch. If your shelf is on a flat, slightly uneven surface and "front down" and you push down on the shelf, it will pop out. This is really annoying when doing any rack work. Despite all my complaints, once installed, the shelf slides smoothly and holds multiple heavy devices with ease. I don't think I would buy another one though.
