Review on Get in Shape with Garmin Forerunner 745: GPS Running Watch, Advanced Training Stats, on-device Workouts, and Essential Smartwatch Features in Red by Matt Conner

I purchased the 745 to replace my Forerunner 245 when I decided to make the switch from running to triathlon. After 245, 745 is a big step up in terms of performance and additional metrics. The 745 looks better (thanks to the colors) and is significantly faster than the 245, but the weight is about the same. After the 245, the 745 offers more detailed sleep tracking, daily activity tracking (floors climbed), additional cycling tracking (performance), and some widgets offer more data and in a more graphical form. Overall a great watch. Great for triathlon.
