Great Watch!: Sports & Handheld GPS

This is my first GPS running watch other than the Apple Watch. All the feedback this watch is giving is amazing! Being able to dial in runs and exertion combined with how you sleep and body battery was amazing. I typically get around 4/5 days of battery life with two workouts a day, 5-6 days a week. I would highly recommend this watch to anyone looking for a great everyday watch that doesn't need the extra navigation features that the 945 or Fenix models offer.

Impressive upgrade from my previous Forerunner 245

I purchased the 745 to replace my Forerunner 245 when I decided to make the switch from running to triathlon. After 245, 745 is a big step up in terms of performance and additional metrics. The 745 looks better (thanks to the colors) and is significantly faster than the 245, but the weight is about the same. After the 245, the 745 offers more detailed sleep tracking, daily activity tracking (floors climbed), additional cycling tracking (performance), and some widgets offer more data and in a…

Swimmer's eye

I like the predecessor 745 very much. The battery life is outstanding. I often don't charge for 3-5 days. I love the multimedia functionality and being able to download songs straight from my Deezer or Spotify accounts was great so I don't have to carry my phone around when I'm running or lifting weights. As a swimmer, the lap tracking is accurate, although I find the automatic pace tracking a little quiet, but I mainly use it to track heart rate and total kilometers. The interface is very…

Bitter disappointment

I have owned and trained Garmin manufacturers for the last 15 years. I'm getting more and more disappointed with what they offer. Keep in mind that wrist heart rate measurement is very inaccurate. Because accurate heart rate affects other data on the device, it is also at risk. Attempts to pair this with the HRM-Pro were so disappointing that I decided to return this device. Also keep in mind that trying to connect a new Garmin device to your Connect account doesn't work, at least for me. I had

This watch is great for cyclists

I'm pretty sure there are a lot of reviews on the details of this watch so there's no point in going into detail. They are amazing. for cyclists as it can connect to the smart trainer and record power and distance with the watch. Well! The watch is mainly geared towards sports. So if you're looking for smartwatches, just look elsewhere. But if you're looking for a training tool, don't look anywhere else because this thing will help you. The only downside I find is that the only music controls…
