Poor integration with Samsung TV and Xfinity

I bought this unit to use the Bose 701 analog speakers to output sound from my 55" Samsung TV. Here is why I am returning this block: 1. I have a 23 year old JVC home theater receiver which is dated but works. I sent audio from my Samsung to the receiver (with PCM) via Digital Optical and then to the Bose speakers via speaker wire. I was also able to get this Pyle box to work with the TV. Thus, the necessary basic functions for sound transmission from a TV to Bose loudspeakers were implemented with both JVC and Pyle.2. I managed to get Samsung to let the Xfinity remote control the volume through JVC. So I had a remote control (Xfinity) that I could do anything with. What could not be said about Pyle. There was no 5 digit code that would allow the Xfinity remote to control Samsung's volume through Pyle.3. The Pyle manual (p8) talks about the ARC (Audio Return Channel) feature, which allows you to control audio from a single remote control. I spent over 45 minutes on the phone with tech support and they were unable to provide me with any technical information that would show me how to connect a device (other than an optical cable) to complete this task. In fact, they recommended using an optical device and I got the impression that ARC doesn't even apply to this device.4. The Pyle manual speaks of the "Display" function on the remote and device. There is NO "Display" button on the remote control. This unit may have other benefits (e.g. Bluetooth) and 4K HD integration, but my interest was solely in finding a newer receiver with the potential for future 5-speaker Dolby that I can use immediately to over my pair of Bose analog speakers to sound your TV and control it all from a single Xfinity remote. This receiver does not currently integrate with Xfinity Remote.
