Unreliable and even dangerous. As others have said, it takes a few tries to get it right. When this happens, it may burn long enough to even light a cigar. Then it won't light up again unless you shake it. It is possible to get burned thinking the flame has gone out. Definitely hit or miss with it, which makes it completely unreliable. My wife didn't have time to return the package so I'm stuck with this junk. Spend a little more and get something sturdier and more reliable. And safer.
