The camera came to me with spots. I checked the threads on camera and they seemed intact so I thought I'd give it a try anyway. First, the nut used to mount the camera did not fit the connector plug at all. I literally took the 10m open end and screwed it into the connector. Once I lowered it next to the camera I tried to tighten it to help the 3m of double sided tape I had stuck on the other side. The lock washer was closed enough that it didn't rot, prompting me to remove the mounting threads. I put it on my '07 Camry to test it and it's pointing down so far the only thing I can see is a crack in the driveway just behind my car. Stay away from it...
