That's exactly what I wanted!
This is amazing! I'm not a player; I just wanted to use something on my desk in the garage and then decided it was too pretty and cool to use there and possibly get dirty so I put it on my desk in my home office. It's obviously larger than a regular mouse pad, but it fits my Star Wars office and the mouse no longer detaches from the pad. I will definitely be buying another Star Wars/Empire rug for my desk!
