Review on AMES MSS5 Maximum Stretch White 5 Gallon by Marco Habersham

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simply the best. Best in Paints and Primers

You might find an equivalent among similarly priced products, but for me this product worked. Of course you can buy paint for a third of the cost, but what do you get: lots of water added. Or at half the price: less good adhesion, less good elasticity, less good protection against mold. This is a labor intensive project so do yourself a favor and buy nice things and you will be much happier later. It's the old logic: good color pays off. To apply, take a bucket, a short and long stick, a good ladder, a paint roller holder, several 1.5 inch lint rollers, old clothes, weather forecast, no nearby trees shedding leaves or flowers; Roof surface and lubricate with a roller. Of course they say water cleans, but throw away the reel, consider throwing away the bucket too. In ideal conditions I accidentally got some of this on aluminum trim and tried scrubbing it off with a wet paper towel after five minutes to no avail, the stuff dries very quickly and sticks well. Sunlight is needed to activate so make sure it has it is a sunny day, you may even need to change rollers if they dry on the roller for a long time. Hot day. This is a plastic paint so expect to apply at least two coats and repaint the roof every eight years to maintain protection. If applied correctly and sufficiently, it will prevent leakage, significantly reduce the temperature of your roof (the difference between applying the first and second layers is very large, you can sit comfortably on the roof after application.), reduce wind damage (my Neighbors had two new roofs, and I'm repainting mine right now), put off installing a new roof indefinitely (until you get home). the material under the roof decomposes if it has already been exposed to water).
