We bought two of these Genki devices to use with our exclusive Apple AirPods with AAC codec, Bose QC35 II and Bang & Olufsen H9i headphones, and two of our Nintendo Switch. Neither Genki device was able to connect to any of the aforementioned headphones using the AAC codec advertised by Human Things. This resulted in my headphones being connected via the SBC codec, which had extremely poor latency/delay, which was easily noticeable in every game I tested. I use the same headphones as the Human Things ad for Genki. So they should work fine. I contacted Genki's official support email (the one printed on the product box), got no response so I contacted them here on Revain. They just responded here, blaming my headphones and my ears and discarding my comparative test cases which confirmed that my headphones had no noticeable lag/lag when connected to known good devices that support the AAC codec. I also provided data and evidence to support my claims, but I received the same general and derogatory statements from Human Things. Luckily, Revain has a great returns policy so you can try your luck with minimal risk. As for Human Things as a company, I suggest staying away from them. I'm pretty sure they hide the truth and can't back up claims about their product.
